A great set of Indian Snowshoe. These are a womans or child's pair and feature red and blue pom poms. Pom Poms were originally made out of a deer or other animal fur and were thought to make the hunter smell more like an animal while hunting. Over the years the tradition continued and wool and yarn replaced the fur. Many different Pom Pom colors were used in decoration to distingusih different tribes.
